Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe hails from America and is a country music singer/songwriter. In 2007, she had released two singles, as well as an album titled Satisfied. She then formed an Pistol Annies group with Angaleena Lambert, Miranda Lambert and Angaleena. Later, they released their second album, titled Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe, Assistant Village Manager of the village in Riverside Illinois has more than fifteen years of experience within working in the government sector. She spent nearly five years in Iowa City as the Deputy City Manager. Her current responsibilities as the Assistant Village Manager includes the management of the Community Development and Building Department managing grants, as well as completing specific initiatives. In Riverside Ashley supports everyday operations of village services while working towards the vision for strategic planning of elected officials as well as the residents. Ashley's prior roles have included the municipal planning, budgeting for communications, personnel management and collective bargaining, with a focus on climate action initiatives. Through her involvement in the national community and working in communities that have populations of varying sizes, Ashley has gained insight on the complexity of differences and similarities with the way public institutions operate.
